Magdalene House of Charleston is a nonprofit recovery home for women facing addiction. Our residents come from lives of destitution, abuse, incarceration, and human trafficking and are enjoying the first freedom they have known for years. It’s our mission to help women rise up from darkness and “Be the Light”.

​​In 2017, we created a social enterprise launching our own handbag & yogabag line called “Magdalene”. We also carry bath and body products, handmade jewelry, international home goods, and custom coffee blends sold at local craft and artisan fairs, farmers markets, corporate events, women's conferences, boutiques sales, yoga studio sales, and home market. Clothing line and internet boutique to come! Residents in the program are afforded an opportunity to see firsthand how women can impact business and their community.
2018 dawns our new residential facility in Summerville, SC, housing 6 women with room for administrative offices and retail boutique.
